Tree Spading as an Alternative
|
Tree spading can be done any time of year. However, it is best to transplant certain species during the cooler months of spring and fall. Usually detail plans and tree maintenance are the focus of the winter and mid-summer months, with planting in the spring and fall, but we can accommodate any construction situation with a little ingenuity.
In general, deciduous trees (trees that shed their leaves seasonally) do best if they're moved in the spring or fall. Evergreens should be moved before their new growth begins in the late spring or after new growth hardens in late summer. We work with our customers to figure out the best time for their trees to be planted/relocated while considering the customers' time schedules and ours.
